Garlic-soy shrimp

Serves: 4-6 

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 1 hour 15 minutes 

  • 1 cup soy sauce

  • 1/4 cup finely minced garlic (8 cloves)

  • 1 teaspoon fresh black pepper

  • 1/2 pound of large shrimp

In a large bowl combine the soy sauce and black

pepper. Add the shrimp and toss to coast. 

Refrigerate for 1 hour. 

Preheat a grill, grill pan or a cast-iron skillet over high heat until smoking hot.

Remove the shrimp from the marinade, letting it drip off.

Place the shrimp on the grill for two minutes. 

Flip and cook for one minute more. 

If you're cooking with the shell on, add 30 seconds of cooking time.

Serve.
